There are 10 known courses to choose from in Jamaica, most of them are conveniently situated right next to the resorts you will be staying at, so you don’t have to worry about driving or being transferred after playing 18 holes. Also, you will never have to go through any unsafe areas of Jamaica to play your game, as the nicer courses are easily accessible from your resort. As long as you stay on a golf resort, you can be reasonably sure you will be playing an upscale course.
In this post, I'm sharing our top 5 Jamaica's golf courses

A beautiful walking course, this 18-hole par-72 championship course tests scratch and novice golfers alike with similar from appropriate distances. designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and opened in 1962. The course was later modernized by Roger Rulewich, who removed non-native trees, expanded several greens, and renovated bunkers, creating a masterpiece of absolute beauty and game-raising challenges. a classic layout with multiple sets of tees, well-bunkered greens -contoured to accommodate surface drainage, and an overall length ranging from 5,035 to 7,120 yards

Jewel Runaway Bay Beach & Golf Resort
This is one of my favorite hotels in Jamaica, Jewel Runaway Bay Beach Resort features an 18-hole, 72 par, championship golf course that has hosted the Jamaica Open, the Brinks (Jamaica) Classic, the Heineken World Cup Qualifier, and the Ryder Cup. The Clubhouse features an open-air restaurant and bar that serves breakfast and lunch. Green fees are included for guests of the resort, and a golf pro shop, showers, and storage area are also available to golfers

Sandals Golf and Country Club
This course was honored by Golf Digest, Sandals Golf and Country Club is a top choice for a stay-and-play vacation in Ocho Rios. Guests of the resort receive plenty of perks: like complimentary green fees, a PGA-certified clinic, and club storage. The 18-hole, par 71 course has three sets of tees and narrow fairways with small drop-off greens. On the course, two dining options are available. There is also a full-service, pro golf shop, a driving range, practice range, and changing area.

White Witch Golf Course
Situated on the historic 4,000 acres Rose Hall Estate, and sited on 200 acres of lush greenery and rolling countryside, The White Witch Golf Course is carved from the rolling countryside of Jamaica’s historic Rose Hall Plantation and is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril.

Cinnamon Hill Golf Course
Cinnamon Hill’s diverse elevations offer a great combination of both links-style and inland golf. Feel the cool ocean spray on your cheeks as you play alongside the Caribbean Sea, then hear the wind whistling through the pines as you tee-off on holes 16 and 17, 350 feet above sea level. On the closing stretch, tight fairways are dotted with treacherous, strategically placed bunkers, inspiring the most competitive player’s best game.

No matter where you play, we suggest finding a Jamaica golf resort that has a golf course right with it, as you oftentimes have to be a guest of the resort to play it. Also, these resorts usually have much more to do than just play golf, I’d also recommend you get a caddy when you play, as these are very knowledgeable about the courses, and can tell you everything you need to know about each hole, as well as reading your putts, cleaning your clubs, etc. so you make your Jamaica golf experience enjoyable. for help and advice planning corporate meetings or incentive programs and playing your way around the most spectacular destinations, you can reach out to www.MTCglobalSolution.com for a free consultation.
